In the early 1960’s two brothers came up with the idea of offering quality steaks for a reasonable price. Recognizing the potential emerging in restaurant franchising, the brothers grew Mr. Mike’s into a chain of unique, self-service steakhouses known for outstanding quality steaks and a generously stocked salad bar. Today dawns a new era for the company as it initiates its strategic renewal. Catering to the needs of today`s busy consumer, a whole new format and level of service has been developed for the chain. Mr. Mike’s has evolved while maintaining it’s core identity. Mr. Mike’s West Coast Grill enhances and updates the features of a traditional Mr. Mike’s with the development of a show kitchen, a unique West Coast style décor package, full table service and a fully licensed bar. The main focus continues to be steaks. Of course, the world famous Mikeburger remains as true as it did over 40 years ago. The commitment to offer customers great value and exceptional quality continues to be the foundation of the organization. Mr. Mike’s strong brand identity and reputation throughout Western Canada has allowed the Mr. Mike’s West Coast Grill concept to flourish in each market that it enters.
Training & Support
Extrensive 10 to 12 week training program to ensure that the customer is delivered the Mr. Mike’s experience. Once opened there is on-going support and consulting in accounting, management, marketing, menu development and human resources.
